Cooking and typical products

Sarzana cooking is similar to typical Ligurian and Lunigiana one.
The historical center is rich in restaurants, pizzerias, cafe, pubs and bakeries where you can enjoy in traditional specialties and baked goods as:
Ravioli, pesto, stuffed vegetables, or more simply fried chickpea porridge or flat bread.


In the countryside  there are many vineyards, producing the famous Luni Vermentino and some other variety as Bosco, Albarola, Trebbiano.
As good Ligurian tradition even in Sarzana a lot of family has extra virgin olive oil mills.
